Road King Test

To Keep or Not to Keep- KEEP!!!!!!!!!!

I do not know if this is the same with everyone but when you buy a used classic bike like a yezdi, jawa enfield etc there is always this dileama if the bike is ok or should u consider selling it etc and this nonsense will keep going on and on ur head like forever till u decide , I went through this with the CL-2 as i got the bike had spent a lot on bringing it to a rideable state and bang the gear breaks and the engine was screwed anyway and then six months is the sentence for the bike and it had to time in the mech shop gathering dust and the cost of doing the bike is already on your head and the pain of it gathering dust.

Then one fine day its done up and the cost of if it already paid, once u ride it home u will see all ur dilemas melting away, what u now experience is sweet pleasure and the irony is this pleasure is only because u waited and went through the pain and guess wat u wont experience the same if had bike in a good shape , the experience of making a bike beaten up run like the wind is jus amazing and thats when ur passion actually comes out so if u brought a bike and aint good jus work on it and u might feel what i jus raved about

CL-II Noise Busters

Finally two weeks ago got my CL-II back, fully done up. The bike did have its share of problems , i got the bike the next day rode to work on my way back home, poof!!! it stopped . It would start but if u put it in gear and move, the bike would die . There was electricity, there was fuel flow but no power , it was like 1+1 is not equal to 2 , tried cleaning the spark plug but still no response , the day was hot as hell and a 4km push awaited , hell yeah i pushed it all the way home and not a clue what went wrong. The next day morning being a sunday started it again same problem checked if there was fuel flow within the carb even that was in place with no other way out called senthil my mech and he asked me to come and pick up our grand old man. i went in my jawa and picked him up and as the saying goes , He came ,He saw , He conquered , the problem was a loose carb bolt which was letting air in through induction and yes a tightned nut the bike was fine but the next day i took the bike to tidy things up and yes it runs just fine

but the other problem was the noise and my wife actually got down from the bike and walked away she said she couldn take it so time for noise busting , so went to the mech yesterday  added the cores and wow what a noise i just love the way it rides its smooth as butter the only irritant is the pin noise hope it dies down soon
